If God must follow rules, then he is not very powerful. He seems to have made some rules, which He follows most of the time, but to say that he MUST is to say that the presence you feel is of someone more powerful that God. This is really just playing with words, though, because the presence of God is the presence of the supreme, however we define Him. You, too, are making progress.

Maybe God has a hand and maybe it's a metaphor. The point is that if he is God, then He can act, select, and do anything He wants. It is also quite obvious that He thinks differently and better than we do.

I'm not. I think I believe in God more than most people. I don't seem to have a choice. I've tried not to believe but I can't help it, I feel God's presence, I seem to understand things that are indescribable like the very presence of God. I know you'll say I feel him too but you don't, not in the same way, not till you have every reason not to believe and you still can't help but believe. See I'm screwy like that.

Really, Alchemy, look at the probability of all this happening by chance. You set forth a savior in response to something I said. Amanda tells you that is her maiden name. And shortly before all this happened, I pointed out the prayer in your offhand comment about hell. Of course, all this followed your dialog with Amanda concerning your relationship with God. I hate to sound like a pulpit-pounding woman preacher, but take heed, brother, the Hand of God may be strongly on your side.
