Cold (Free verse) by horus8

Pounded thin through splitting blue light Shafts refract and condense me in crystal. Electrolytes and long inescapable pauses direct me from line to line, sight to sight. Layer upon layer of frozen idea and tissue... If I were to bend but an inch, this would be over. Another mad dream in another false flash Like young love under exploding glacier. Floe to floe, following the North star home Back to a place where no sun finds night.

Why, because I did that to my mom?
