close to wonderland (Free verse) by crwncka1

though the floating glass that lifts, up from the surface I see, a mirror to the unknown, where shadows may be seen, reflecting back in full color, for now I see though the darkness, on to the world that exists, where the sidewalk ends, no longer will the unknown haunt me, as today I have found the diamond, that shows all sides of the picture, that my eyes look into, now my world may take the shape, of this most elegant jewel I found, as I pull it in for a closer look, I see with my eyes fixed glaring, though the light that casts down, glimmering off each side appears, a multiplex of beautiful color, that create a gorgeous rainbow, that my eyes follow straight ahead, on toward the gold promised, that lies just on the other side, somewhere near the end of color
