On A Night Like This (Free verse) by bazz

On a night like this I held her in my arms She's no longer here, we're no longer the same Under the infinite sky we gazed upon stars Stars that twinkle, as our love fades away Stars; diamonds that glitter across the curtain of night Maybe she's admiring the same stars, in someone else's arms On a night like this my heart yearns for her My voice searches for her, my hand longing her caress My tears carry in them visions of her My soul wanders and is lost without her Why was the love that we had, so short? And the oblivion that I'm in, so long? On a night like this I miss her immensely I no longer love her, but perhaps I still do But someone else's, she's now someone else's As she once belonged to my kisses I pray that this is the last pain she'll cause me As I hope these are the last words I'll write for her

Yes, Why! why! Because, your poetry is a sheasar salad with a tiny shnapkin and no fork. I hope these are the last words you ever write, because your shit fu is weak your sharate is weak and your face is a shit sale.
