About: Dr. Robert Woodley was born in the West Texas desert, in a small town named Pecos; an Indian word meaning "crooked river." He earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Shortly thereafter he received his PhD Degree from California Western University in Santa Ana, California. His area of emphasis was Curriculum Development. Robert has had a long and very successful career serving as Director of Kettering Lighthouse Elementary School in Arlington Heights, Illinois. He has served as an Elementary School Principal working with Adolescents at Risk and being appointed Director of Curriculum Development for more than one school system. He is currently at home in Chicago, IL. Besides writing Poetry and Children's Books he breeds Yorkshire Terriers with his partner. Robert is quite active in his New Thought church, as well. Additional books written by Robert are: The Doodle Berry People and Stinky Skunk's Vision Quest.
