Why not just give up on this site?

I'm a bit of an oldtimer, a former heavy user, back after a long hiatus to see what's going on here. I'm mostly disappointed I posted a poem and, forty eight hours later, nobody has said it's a pile of crap or otherwise insulted me. Standards are indeed slipping.
I love this site, but did everybody interesting disappear at the same time I did?
I guess that depends upon your definition of interesting. It certainly has got a lot less good since Fraser was banned and Zodiac disappeared in a cloud of ginger.

Fraser called kaolin fire a gaylord. Which judging by the banner to the left he certainly is not. Everytime he goes on the website he is re-directed to Disney. He can still access the site by going through some kiddy fiddler site which hides his IP address.
His Mother died after an horrific accident involving an internet cream pieathon (quite what that is I don't know) and a colossal Child of Africa.
The phrase "colossal Child of Africa" is officially the most hilarious thing ever uttered. I am unable to think of these words without laughing.
