No, it was probably never going to be. However, if only in the interest of aggressive commenting, I wonder when you were ever going to actually *critique* a poem here. Checking - to name one - my, zodiac's, most recent comments, I find rewording and formatting suggestions, grammar edits, a theme critique, and so on, and so on into eternity. Your comments on poemranker seem to have been limited to vague praises (on our already-acknowledged Top 20 posts, no less) and the unjustified insinuation that some of our comments (and not yours) aren't "helpful to the poet". I hereby suggest that your comments are the unhelpful ones, that an internet homepage is actually a "site" and not a "sight", and that you enjoy a long, rewarding career in Old Poetry. Thanks for your time.

Hateful poetry-writing infants (i.e., the sort allegedly posting to this site) would.
This is more than enough. I conceded that this was not the place to post my poetry and I have not done so. Leave it at that.
This is not helping anyone and rubbing it in isn't something anyone here is immature enough to do.
I don't think anyone's saying this isn't the place to post your poetry--that will stand or fall on its own merits. And if you're looking for honest criticism, you might--just might--find it here. Sometimes you might even find encouragement, though don't count on it. We're generally not a "hail and well met" backslapping, feel-good bunch, I do admit, so if that's what you're looking for, you might be better off at "all_poems_are_good_poems.com" or "your_poetry_is_an_expression_of_YOU_and
