Powder Blue (Free verse) by [mojo]
Powder blue, kimono style, Dusk grey, and all the while I watched you command the space you past through. No-one else noticed the gold at the hem, The embroidered motif meant nothing to them, But everything to me, became you. Became powder blue. A world in half-light, Like bright colours at night, Which have the same translucent beauty, A hint at what could shine through. Why did no-one else see? How much more obvious could it be? With such charm and subtlety, You coloured me powder blue. My world became colour washed, As you moved I stood to watch You paint the air you touched silver, Shine silver, shine in your smile, Iridescent beauty glow, What could the others possibly know? How can they SEE you? In powder blue.
