debating (Free verse) by FreeFormFixation
Waves of worry leap like lizards projected from my fingertips. Thorough thoughts or blips and blots. Who knew you would cause those rips? Caustic coughs and dimes for dollars, love is our only currency. And Baby, I'm sick of sifting my sins Through the seive you bent for me. Waves lap at my wobbly, weak ankles. Soon I'll collapse bruised and mangled. Slapped in the face by the omniscient ocean, Doomed to be chewed by decay of emotion... In a path from man to debris, An acidic bath in an unending sea. We've held our hearts hostage for far too long now. Our hands are still holding our guns. Either pull that trigger or crumple with me, Either way we both wither eventually.
