The Cessation of Fidelity (Free verse) by wilco
Shivering in the dark like the moss under a stone, I genuflect beneath the languid stars. From this ever expanding chasm, there appears no escape. But I've dug this hole myself and here I will lie eternally. I offer no apologies, for that would be in vain. I will face the jury, and welcome the waves with open arms. There is no remorse for my malefaction in my blackened, bitter heart. Only sorrow for what I've lost.
