The Chocolat Box (Free verse) by Samantha
No one plans their life out on a paper
Life "is like a box of chocolat you never know
what your gonna get." wouldnt you like to though?
following a crowd, is no box, its a paper lear.
Who makes you believe, you have to look perfect?
is it you, or the people around.
Everywhere people try to look like the world found
if the box was full that would be hard to recallect
People here and people there, i am also in that dare
to step out of the paper cart
start your own box, to be true to your heart
looking, eqnore their constant stare
Paint only covers so many layers of yourself
one year black, another blue, green and then pink
hide up on that dust shelf
would the outside influence be a link?
A box of chocolat can only be unique
No piece tastes the same
you will be able to grow instead of the usual shrink
be true to yourself is the real aim
No one plans their life out on a paper
"Life is like a box of chocolats you never know
what your gonna get" wouldnt you like to though?
following a crowd, is no box, it is a paper lear.
