unidentified (Lyric) by <~>
U.P.B.s, U.P.B.s, how'd you get all over me?
you left no trace in memory.
flower of force aback my arm,
from whence thy source, o marks of harm?
and that one behind my knee
is not much now, but wait and see,
it'll rival the one up high
blooming violet on my thigh--
squarish, hard, and rather deep
it took two weeks to reach its peak.
but these new ones, so fresh and bright
they must have all come from last night.
i found my shoes, i found my keys,
then i was found by EMTs.
i fear they're not the gentle sort.
if i'd remember, i'd report
their rougish handling of my frame.
they tossed me 'round as in a game
so 'tis no wonder that you see
these U.P.B.s all over me.
as i am here to write this verse
their unknown names i shall not curse.
but keep that substance far from me
i wish no more those U.P.B.s
