The meaning of Love (Free verse) by The Slender Blade
What is this? An angel in heaven? No, this is love, From the skies above. My mother has left me, Departed, but not forgotten, I can accept closure, But not indecent exposure. I must understand, The way of things, After all, no one really knows, The way the wind blows. Life is like this, A kick in the teeth, But when a child cries, What can one surmise?
