That was the day the world changed Many left hurt, many left dead The world left shocked History different forever That Day While some shattered, some happy Some crying, some celebrating Lots thinking who did this horrific thing Twin Towers gone, Pentagon partly gone That Day Every September 11th will mark that horrible day Remembering all those innocent people lost The U.S. staying strong That Day
