Daily Rutein (Free verse) by New Life Drug
Today I realized that you dont even know me It's not like I'm pulling away But if you took the time, the time to even show me maybe I could forget about today And each time that I slip, I try to love you more But how the hell can I do that when the loneliness keeps knocking at my door? And Tonight I'll look down at my sorrow Tonight I'll look down at the hell of tomorrow because.. Today's mess brings me down Deeper in my scars, Deeper in the hell i've found Today's mess brings me down Deeper in my scars, I feel the world and it's crashing down Today's mess brings me down And I ruin myself, ruin muself, ruin myself And ruin you Today I realized that I dont even know me Its not like I ever will But if I held the key, that I'm searching for inside of me Do you think I'd take away the feelings that are making me ill? And each time that I sink, I try to love you more But how the hell can I do that when this anger keeps knocking at my door? And tonight i'll look down at my sorrow Tonight ill look down at another useless tomorrow Do you think i'll ever change? Do you think i'll ever change? Do you think i'll ever change? Or do you think I thrive on being insane!?
