The Sinners Saloon (Free verse) by SupremeDreamer
Here I sit, head hung in shame, next to father Patrick. Irish bastard.. God loves him anyway. "Give me Jesus on the rocks" "Sweet or Sour?" "Make that bastard bitter, he shouldnt be sweet for a sapless sinner like me." I slam the shots, eating the divine bread served like peanuts. Feeling the forgiveness, I smile and stumble out the bar feeling better than when I first came in.
