Coloquy (Free verse) by emilyowey
There is less than understanding Inside what we can say. Rising high inside my eyelids Making rivers dance and fall. Words like chewed tobacco Layers of shortened filth. Wisps of crescent moon rays, Light through every side. The vague cries of pain and love, Wanting more than freedom gives. Colors for the feel of stains. Rain is what we need. To clean with grit.
