Mercury (Free verse) by david
Hobnobbing around the Mercurian noon, with only a thin whiskey-coloured veil to waylay it, the Sun must burn carte blanche in the sky, growing white-hot and even larger as the day grows, spitting, burgeoning and flaring out at the seams like an infrared sunfish, gravid with roe.
