Graffito Murder (Free verse) by Don-Quixote
My ruby red diamond sparkles
between my teeth as I drink
slowly the whisky that burns
my throut.
Staring at the words I wrote
on the wall, in graffiti colors
and style, laughter rolls from
my tongue, thinking why in the hell
I wrote that shit..
A drunken fit explodes
and my switchblade meets the concrete
causing sparks to fly. I wonder why
my knife won't sink into the wall.
Hearing the police call,
I stroll off into the darkness,
leaving the knife scratchmarks
as my calling card.
