selflessness (Free verse) by NNirvana13666
A raging symphony circulating through one's mind Patriotic rebellion has captured time Lost glances guide me to understand Sometimes a man can’t identify with the choices of man I cherished the time we tried to pretend But reality prevailed in the end Respect the brutality of the tides cause at times it isn’t your choice to decide An ambiance of fidelity Etched in stone and civilly served The naked eye is sensitive to the light A light that can echo and make you feel life A virgin, wrenchingly pure of treachery An ambiance of fidelity It is not your choice It is not his or her choice It is the choice of the decider Residing in the light of darkness Prominent arrays of solitude confine minds to hate My virgin will never taste soulful rage An ambiance of fidelity is the solidarity Unfortunate despair We long for enlightenment Uncomfortable longing The sunlight kissed my mind and I was reborn My body unchanged yet my soul is new My wishes and wants immaculate A pathetic incoherent path of conventional virtue I violently ripped off all my likenesses I am different I want to be different I want to be cured from this sameness. I don’t see parallel images I don’t hear encouragement I wished you here to listen I want to be different Who am I? I am not you.
