Metrosexuality (Free verse) by LuckyJoe
Wade into the waves of robotic drones,
Lifeless presents once human now heading to work,
Dressed to bring back to reality, if only for a moment.
Eye luring connection, meekly smile,
Teeth glow brilliantly white,
Glow with conceited thoughts of nightlife,
Face beaming, onward the cement river flow.
Living fantasy,
Curvy roads of quality bodies all thatâs known,
Float above the masses fearlessly,
Look down upon the ânormâ
Lavish beauty causing thunder; striking foe.
A day off to be girly?
Because men canât be hygienic,
Socially unacceptable,
American⦠Untrusting of that not known.
Leer raciest remarks:
Homoâ¦Faggotâ¦Queer!
Unknowing clearly shown,
If only you knew how strait metrosexuals can be,
Look with their breath taking eyes,
Despise they claim the prize you want
Superficiality.
To the salon for primping,
Manicure,
Creating sensual hands with silken touch,
Pedicure,
No fear to take off your shoes
Eyebrow waxing,
Through watery eyes see a blur,
Naturally long lashes, enhance the hazel enticement,
Underarm hair trimmed short,
Allowing air in stay cool, no sweating,
Landscape the pubic lawn,
Donât want hair in mouth, why would she?
Allow this to open your eyes,
Take a look around and see,
Looking nice isnât automatically gay,
Itâs a walk in the park alone,
Captivating sexuality,
Dare to be different,
Stand well groomed head high without a care.
