venus (revised) (Free verse) by princesszoe
cloud girl shows her knickers to the world why? asks the teacher venus waves her doll at other girls edges not defined, most boundaries out of time the little minds grow slowly day on day till tuesday when miss cloud girl floats away wednesday comes and venus stands quite still wanders just where she put her pills? thinks hard and vacant it’s a fat chance but she takes it tries anything to make it feel truth real thursday’s here and venus lost her doll the time’s hard gone and taken toll the march of life has left it’s hole still venus stays and tries another hand of poker, and with dash of sober bland tries to make it with a man lets go her reigns and stable gains no hedging bets at this late stage chips fall to deep and bleeding red black age
