ooohhh...subs (Free verse) by Myte342
Down in the depths
There was a man named Sam
He was the pilot
Of a Nuke submarine
His job was simple
But long in the saying
"If my ship hits anything
Your out The tube"
The Captain was rough
So everyone said
But he did HIS job
And noone was dead
And so we Sam
Down below the sea
But following Sam
Was a Jap Submarine
It followed them east
It followed them north
But still Sam did his job
And he didn't hit anything
So Sam kept going
Till the sirens blared
"It wasn't me" Sam declared
The Japs were closing
And closing in fast
"Take us down" The Capt. ordered
And down Sam went
"They can't catch me"
Sam's ego vented
"I'm the best pilot"
"Go portside"
Was the order
But Sam wouldn't have it
Going down was what he did
And he did it best
Down went the Japs
Following on his heels
They chased him West
They chased him South
But still they couldn't catch Sam
He went untill the hull was creaking
Groaning in plea for their lives
The seams were popping
And shooting steam
Evertwhere you looked
Was water seaping in
Suddenly he pulled up
And took a left
The Japs they followed
And sealed their fate
For Sam went down
Yes down again
He took a turn
One never before seen
A turn so tight
The Japs were unseen
The Japs tried to follow
But couldn't turn like Sam
They hit a wall
and kept on going
They sank top the floor
And wasn't moving
But Sam misjudged
When he took his turn
He turned to tight
And folded in half!!
And so we see Sam today
Piloting his Nuke Sub.
In right angles all over the world
