Desert Rain (Free verse) by Don-Quixote
[I am SupremeDreamer..] Simple moody tune.. Here I stand on a dune, Presperation driping away, Cheek to cheek it slips.. Smiling the sun, All its blaze going my way. All I can do is laugh, Because I ain't got nothin to say. The wind cooling My face, works tears Drying, and blown away. My hair, brown and worn Floating in the air. Me and this desert, One lovely pair. The rains going to come, Shutting out the suns rays. Just getting ready for Rainy days. Watch the drops Soak with the sand, And begin to river. The river is going To get bigger, and I'm not going to be Struck down from its Force.. That girl on the horizon.. Sunny eyes, soon we will Stand, and be the desert Once again..
