No Shoes 4 me, thanx (Free verse) by bronzeNICKELchik
I do not like sneakers
nor Hush Puppies
Not pump peakers
or those slipper guppies.
I can't stand my trainers
Can't TAKE those wooden clogs
People that need shoes, lets face it,
are a bunch of Lamers.
Walk shuffling, sauntering about
feels to me, like I'm under a layer of smog
so thick, so heavy, I could, and will, SHOUT!
Don't like the tacky platforms
for i could simply fall off of the world!
The natural way is to go no shoes
and this comes to you from a nice and natural girl.
But now I have gashes
thicker then even my thickest eye lashes
and some wounds that i highly doubt, would make anybody swoon.
So now what is left other than those flip-flops?
Oh man!
With shoes, with messes, i will be forced to use a mop!
I will think this over.
I will make use of my Mary janes or my Clyde-Clovers!
Sure I'll take those boots!
Wrap ??m up!
I want to be in style the next time a dude says, to me, "sup!"
