Truth in Lies (Free verse) by BleedingRose
What holds more truth? A truth or a lie? For truth can be used To defeat a man's mind. Truth, it is fact, It is certain and strict. It is open to all To use as they wish. An imposing truth, As irrelavant as air, Can defeat a man's purpose With belief without care. Lies can enlighten If you know where to look. They can bare a man's heart Like a well written book. Though lies lead astray, And oppose your belief, There is more to be seen In what they want you to think. The source of man's need, The reasons he cries, His expressions of love, He must weave them in lies.
