April 20, 2003 ~ Waiting ~ inspired confidence waiting and waiting all my life I’ve been waiting waiting for a person like you living very quietly absorbed by life sometimes so wrong ~ this heart of mine hurts so much waiting for someone tending to my needs at times so troubled waiting for a person like you I’m not ashamed to say I love and if necessary I’ll wait forever is it possible to wait for love ~ I am eager today because I have so much to love and as I have watched passers-by wander in love I know my waiting is a while of worth but this heart of mine has been hurt before this time I want to know for sure ~ waiting for a person like you I am incapable of rejoicing over my death any longer it’s love I need to share it’s you I want to have near just waiting for a person like you and I know someday my waiting will come true ~ Thom
