Music Box (Ode) by scornofangels
The girl in the box sits upon my shelf hiding from the world, keeping to herself. When I need her most I open up the lid the bear the light on where she hid. My lullaby plays, in her dress, she twirls. She smiles sweetly and her joy is heard. It's the same old song and the same old dance to hide her feelings behind a mask. And when the song ends, when the lid will close, in the dark she?ll cry. But no one knows.
