A Life Short-lived (Free verse) by WHeYe
Weakness,
I lay in pools of...
...my own blood
streaked across my forearm-
so grotesque like porcelain
-made fragile by your
Weakness;
...your water-shaddow eyes
contract to tiny pinpoints within paralleling mirrors-
such spirals, like empathy almost
-I stare at you infinite, and you clutch me frantic:
'Where is the...!'
Weakness?
You; target of
...my attempted heroism
Mad with medicine recieved by you-
So I told you, like irony
-Cut for drug for everytime I let you down
three in all
One for Birth: that's weed
from Birth srung
Two for Life: that's speed
so briefly here, then
Three for
Weakness.
...Ecstacy
My soul released through three open windows
Much relief, like sleep
-Your soul released from
Birth of facinations
Life of quick exchanges
Weakness for sale
a life short-lived.
