Stolen Away (Free verse) by Carvaceous
Vile trust My wall has been breached My heart stolen away Such precious cargo It breaks without tender care Ah, yet not enough its proved to be My wall its armor A weakness in thoughtless trust Such misconception Manipulating trust speaking witty words Sugar coated hurts That cracked my wall And let my heart steal away For a ledge to sit upon With trust as its cushion A cushion of rocks Shattered now lays my heart I leave the pieces And my wall lies echoing
