Black rose in the moonlight (Free verse) by greatguy
All thoughts eventually return, like a circle. To the dark waterfall of your hair, the tender chocolate hue of your skin - your bottomless eyes. My heart steadily pounds a rythm, for you like a drummer lost in music, a couple, dancing la rumba. Winds blow, shifting over water, blowing your hair Rain falls and splatters, the teardrops shed in sadness A tender feeling, merciful, comforting, for my pain. The caring echoed in your eyes, felt in your smooth palms. A dimple creases your cheeck, teeth peeking impishly, amidst dark beauty. A black rose in the moonlight, for your perfection is that of a flower blooming with dark color, smelling sweetly And a red rose in the sun.
