All you can eat (Free verse) by flatliner
I've eaten from the endless self-pity platter it doesn't fill me but it does sustain me, I like how it feels, being sad. I know it's time to leave this buffet, but it's a good value, what a deal, so I'll stay another round. Heaping it high I lean back and feel the weight of self indulgence. There is a price to pay for this, but I don't have a coupon handy. It's last call at the dessert bar, so I sprinkle some miss yous', (I mean cashews) and ask for a to go box. It's a good value, what a deal, but I can't stay another round.
