Only bitter stonework reflects The anthem of the disconsolate Marble's the moon of the heartbroken Absorbing light and reflecting dark - The fraud of decency But pillars oft rise to granite walls Supporting high societies on the drone of dissolute lulls, Granite's more coarse But offers a recourse - Feeling failure is easy when seeing yourself is not Of all Earth's quarry richness Coal is the best and simplest: No lies be told - You're as black as cold: But waiting a million years, With pressure from your peers, And you're something respectable
