As you sit within the warmth of your four walls Basking in the glow of the Christmas tree Adorned with gifts galore Listen to the raging wind As it smacks against the windowpanes And see if you can hear The rattling tin can of the beggar sitting Two streets down Stranded in the shadows With nothing to embrace But the fading thought of those four warm walls...
