The Final Victor (Other) by Sterling5583
Alfred Nobel, the man who invented dynamite, had the idea to make war so destructive and frightening that mankind would never dare start another one. Time flows like a river, and history repeats. A powerful man with the same idea takes center-stage in history. He has caused a great war, and personally orchestrates the war effort. He has made sure the world knows that HE is responsible. His war leaves no human being untouched. He swears that this war will be the end to all battles on Earth for all time. As long as people remember the horrible atrocities he ordered, mankind will never turn to violence again. He has no evil in his heart, but he knows the Earth must be shocked into a worldwide awakening. And someone must be the scapegoat. He recently kidnapped a woman he loved in the past. A woman he still loves. Now, he invites her to his privat chambers... Oh please do not be scared of me, my dear. Do you believe I'd treat you as a foe? My evil crusade has gone on a year. Ask! I have no fear in letting you know. I deliberately devastate; cause woe, To show humanity, all war is evil. You must believe, the seeds of peace I sow. At battle's end, human hearts you'll steal, So long as my plot you not reveal. Now take this weapon, and with it, my life. Earth will love you if my fate you seal. They will honor you and end all their strife. If I could choose anyone to kill me, I'm very glad it turned out to be thee. The woman from his past struck. She killed him. She killed him more out of love than for the personal gain. After taking his life, she then took the responsibility as a monarch in the world nation. The mass populous celebrated their hero, and she guided the Earth into an age of peace unparalled in history. But, never did she nor the world forget the near apocalyptic price they paid for peace.
