Perfect (Free verse) by confuzdlilgirl
You brought light into the world when I couldn't see You lightened everything up inside of me I knew no harm would come within your hold I was soo scared how perfectly you fit the mold Thought I was your perfect girl, thought you were perfect for me Which made it soo perfect, it seemed imperfect to be The way I was you could tell I wasn't the same From the girls you'd been with and played a different game I showed how much one can give without being told A hand on their arm or a finger within their hold but my heaven within your arms soon began to fade I could tell this time wasn't all what it was made it wouldn't last long and I dwelled on it too well I didn't give time to enjoy your spell you turned away from me and my world upside down I couldn't tell what was right or left, just you I'd found but now we aren't what we were at one time you are apart and I am but fine not good not great but doing OK but still I cant let go because of your too perfect way the way you look at me, you aren't looking at all You look inside me, not seeing my call perhaps there is always something I will confess something not seen that is between the two of us you ignore me at times, but I catch your sight perfectly wandering from a chair into my light thinking I can get you, but better I know though it just seems imperfect to let you go so I will say what I want and hope to be true with you it's imperfect to say that I'm threw.
