Ode to my childhood (Free verse) by nopal
Baggy jeans, baggy shirts, big long chains Music no on listens to Remember what they said: Say no! be careful??of what? Hidden walls in forests spray paint cans by the ton, And smoking cigarettes Run, run way, be careful! You're not from here: Foreign kids, foreign language Equals strange, unwanted. But I had fun, and they??????ll never know?????? Confusion, they'll never know, Be happy, be fake They'll never know what you wanted, what you saw. Follow your heart, go home. Grow, change, grow, see, listen, Follow your heart, They'll never know
