beginnings (Free verse) by redleaffalling
saturdaynight morning sounds tempting to be awake, but let us sleep our dreams into midnight falls. feels like dawn again, i wish i could do things a better way, though no other way can change it around. play this game but let us win, this one. it's worth the trophy, it's so much better than sitting in. sundaymorning morning calls for another run to get away from your heart, your home returns to you; day-after-day; wondering if the sun will ever turn cold. moments to cross the line; pushing above the border; fear feelings. hurtful beginnings only to come. but winners don't want to die out that easily. saturdaynight sundaymorning it doesn't really matter. it won't hold for long. look for the next day in you; and fly to your beginnings.
