You Win (Free verse) by ritz1605
It all started one late night, you fail for me and everything just felt so right, i had a boyfriend so i wasn't willing, little did i know you had a much deeper feeling, you kept your thoughts inside for a year until one day i awoke with a tear, could it be that we were went to be, or was it fait should i just sit and wait, i was afraid to tell you that you were more than just a friend, terrified that it would come crashing to an end, but I feel it's right to let a person know how you feel, for it gives that special someone a certain appeal. i waited so long to feel your touch, how could you ever know that i loved you so much, months past and you came to me at last, you softly gave a kiss, and at that moment i was at bliss, but it all came to an end when you said to me you just wanted to be my friend, if one thing i have learned from life it is that when you love someone you've got to let them go, so i sadly said good bye, as i hatefully began to cry. how could God make me love you for so long... and then make things go incredibly wrong? you broke my heart into THREE and then had the nerve to ask, when I'm ready will you still be here for me, But i'm not a girl to sit out on the side lines, so i've said to many times Its not fair and Im too hurt to try again so guess what bud it looks like you win
