A Rendezvous (Free verse) by lrustagi
lying in the bed i thought pondered unguarded, whirled through whims searching the soul was my goal the past uncoiled,turn by turn "must've done","should've done","could've done" left me undone don't intend a pun, but my head really spun brooded over the future too saw promising pixels of a pretty image the time ahead, looked in good stead amidst this all also thought, where is sleep caught in insomnia's mess,train of fancies seemed endless the purpose of it all? this calculation of foregone and future a rendezvous with the inner soul, that after all was the ultimate goal
