Retail (Free verse) by Wakeboarder20
Well I forget the day
I forgot your name.
I donât even recall
the day we met.
But I donât even think
it really matters anymore.
So when you see me
laying in bed.
Do me a favor dear
and pretend Iâm dead.
Iâm used to not seeing things
for what Iâve heard theyâre supposed to be.
Maybe Iâm just blind to the obvious.
Iâm a simple man
worried about the future
and when Iâll get to sooner rather then later.
Well I forget the day
I forgot my name.
I donât even think
it really matters anyway.
Iâm a colorless man.
Blind to subtleties
and what I say I believe.
Just forget Iâm even here.
I donât even remember
what my point was.
