Retail (Free verse) by Wakeboarder20
Well I forget the day I forgot your name. I don’t even recall the day we met. But I don’t even think it really matters anymore. So when you see me laying in bed. Do me a favor dear and pretend I’m dead. I’m used to not seeing things for what I’ve heard they’re supposed to be. Maybe I’m just blind to the obvious. I’m a simple man worried about the future and when I’ll get to sooner rather then later. Well I forget the day I forgot my name. I don’t even think it really matters anyway. I’m a colorless man. Blind to subtleties and what I say I believe. Just forget I’m even here. I don’t even remember what my point was.
