i was an ass (Free verse) by hendrimike
i don't remember the way she looked beneath me hibernating lights patiently wait for day i think the beer i had is in the bathroom silly string sticking stiffly to her hair bass thumps through the house i hear them all laughing and singing she croons to me in a private showcase my room is so messy; i'm glad she's drunk she doesn't notice my laundry situation finishing up now and she stays the night the pillow i give her is flat and the lounge chair doesn't recline
