OutsideThe Window (Free verse) by Flaithri
My skin not getting any younger My faith still strong In my heart is peace Contented in my life Just when the sun rays Given me a fresh note About the move outside Of the neighborhood's Different footsteps Some familiar laughter Both from familiar strangers and brother or sister Extending each other's arms to greet Simple touch of purity What gives sense of the yesterdays Blending with tenderness or loveliness Though just ordinary pleasures Like how one wins her heart Became the most precious treasure Right outside this window grill There's a memory of the day before yesterday My heart, my youth.
