A Sinner’s Prayer (Free verse) by Dovina
O Thou who made with pitfalls The world I wander in Would surely not Impute my fall to sin Or require sorrowful contrition For mistakes made so enticing. No loving God would sit so smug, Take pleasure in my groveling. I conclude it must be in Your will Not to hear my sorrowful calls But to watch a learner navigate Pitfalls with a few less falls
