The End (Other) by DarkThirteens
I know it's unexpected,
you thought things were just fine.
But then you found
that you had crossed
that fine and fragile line.
I remember every second,
of that torment I went through.
I thought you actually
loved me back
when I said, "I love you."
You played me like it was a game
and told me not to fear.
For when I needed
hope or joy,
you said you would be here.
I never thought you'd lie to me
or betray me like you did.
You were my only savior
so I gave
all from within.
You took it all with greed and pride.
I saw you play the part.
The boy I loved over
life itself
was ripping out my heart.
You took me just for granted
like I was yours for life.
You didn't see
the end was near
until you found my knife.
Now I'm gone and I don't know
what life has brought to you.
I pray you have not
found another
and shattered her dreams too.
