A Glass of Milk Inagodadavida (Free verse) by EAger to Offend
Swimming in the summer grass, Crickets singing like sirens. Sucking in the coolness to clarify me and inhaling a tiny ecosystem. I'm at one with the bugs that I breathe, with the dangers of this unmowed lawn, with the neighbours' disaproval And, perhaps, a trip to emergency. All the atoms sharing destinations, All emotions homogenized, In a drink, the secret of life unveiled, Truth momentarily undisguised.
