The Ring (Free verse) by chevihemi
Melodies run as wild as a young lion
People hunt for its origination
Some are fun and cheery
âJingle Bellsâ and âSeventh Inning Stretchâ
Others are annoying, if not obnoxious
âRevileâ and âIn da Clubâ
Popular melodies to old crank style phones
Drawing attention whether desired or not
Time abound when the jingling should be mute
Movies, meetings, classes and myriads more
Polyphonic pulses propagate promiscuously
Be polite and turn off your phone
