Lachrymose (Prose Poem) by affei09
A bliss before my sanity Thy eyes within me grasp my inner martyr Hold on still we will be together Are we yet to last forever? Begun twas thy look, gazed upon me A smile i gave, kiss thy lips to fell thee Oh how colorful were the days, how i envy The girl who lives there, with you, so vividly Promises were spoken Assured as we walked apart But are promises meant to be broken? And erased but remain as my part? We gave love, though we never knew what was it We made vows only to mask We didn't know what loves real meaning Thought our love was gonna last Everything happens for a reason Every pain was meant to make us strong Every tear was the rain on every season But there's a RAINBOW always after every storm As i stood, i lie, i wander As i recall and cherish our ways Must i say we wasted time and emotion Or should i keep it close and let it stay? Time made us Will time also change us? Love warmed us Will love also let coldness surpass us? I let go now becaue i have to I set you free, I set you loose Be another's if you want to But come back to me if it is me whom you choose Tonight i shed a million dew Full of meaning, meant to be for you But tonight i also gather myself that was lost When i chose you, and became my lachrymose.
