Closed Doors (Free verse) by the indign
the doors have closed, we're not quite sure where they led. it doesn't matter, it couldn't have been anywhere so nice as here. but behind the doors good times were shared by those who loved and those who felt something more important than the desparate need to be complete. we shared so much, yet so little. but now the doors have closed and the path starts anew again. we've lost our selves we gave to one another, we will not get them back. so much for sore times with friends; it's time to start all over...again. love is more than a word this day - a sour knife that forever digs its way into a newer heart - a tomb that binds us from now until forever. into this day i'll step forth as shall all of you, along our own new greener road to riches unto fame. the door is closed and through it i can see a bright tomorrow we'll all share again.
