Psilocybin, and the Tale of a Happy Stoner (Free verse) by ARTIE
From deep within the multitude of dreams,
while searching for that mania
which could conquer the World,
came unto man,
in his fervor to reveal,
a pulchritudinous smile,
the similitude of which
has ne'er been seen.
Oh reckless daze
I ask of you,
âHow is it this unconcerned faze?â
From upturned countenance
to wide swept scowl,
one thing is prevalent
in this array of visage,
the preponderance and continuity
of an enlightened gaze.
Journey with me now
and retreat to peace.
Mankindâs zeal to comprehend
fortitude and contentment
consigns us to a fantasm
while the reality of existence
dwells in the conscript,
and, the very marrow
of our convention.
Leave me with a decorous contortion
and sublimate this manifest in trance,
for I shall treasure
the conundrum
of this enigmatic pilgrimage
to survive.
